The Green Bay Packers chose to release three-time Pro Bowl S Nick Collins last week because they weren’t comfortable with him risking serious injury.
According to Jason Wilde of ESPN Milwaukee, Collins is currently considering whether or not to retire or return the football field.
There’s was some optimism a few weeks ago that Collins not only would be able to return, but even play at a similar level, despite having neck surgery months ago. So far, there hasn’t been any known interest in the free agent, but that could change if he chooses to continue his playing career.
