Ohio State DB Kendall Sheffield Suffers Torn Pectoral During Bench Press

Ohio State DB Kendall Sheffield suffered a torn left pectoral muscle on his sixth or seventh rep during the bench press at the NFL Combine Sunday, according to Eric Edholm.

The injury is similar to the one suffered by former Ohio State C Billy Price during the 2018 combine, who also tore his pectoral during the bench press.

Price was able to be cleared from his injury by June and was ready for the start of the regular season.

Sheffield, 22, played three seasons at Ohio State, totaling 75 total tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and 15 passes defenses.
