FOXSports.com reports that veteran offensive tackle Max Starks isn’t likely to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012.
Starks sustained an ACL injury in the Steelers’ playoff loss to the Denver Broncos, and now it looks like the team are going to go with second-round pick Mike Adams at LT, or move second-year RT Marcus Gilbert over to the left side, where he played most of his college career.
Starks was a third-round pick in 2004, and could be a solid signing for a team needing more depth at the tackle position. A few teams have stayed in contact with Starks to stay updated on his rehabilitation.
