ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Green Bay Packers have re-signed K Mason Crosby to a five-year deal.
It was widely assumed that the Packers wold be retaining Crosby during free agency so the moves isn’t all that surprising. Still it’s the first action from the defending Super Bowl champs as they have yet to release or trade LB Nick Barnett which is supposedly in the works.
Last night we heard rumors that the Packers are bidding with the Bengals to retain RB Brandon Jackson so there’s a chance that he could be next for Green Bay.
