Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee-Journal Sentinel reports that the Packers have given McCarthy a three-year extension which will match that of GM Ted Thompson‘s. Green Bay will have them under contract until 2015.
James Jones, Korey Hall & Brandon Jackson
The Packers didn’t offer tenders to WR James Jones, FB Korey Hall and RB Brandon Jackson which will allow them to become unrestricted free agents. Of the three Jones is the most likely to drawn attention during free agency despite the publicized drops that he had during the playoffs.
Brad Biggs of the National Football Post reports that the Green Bay Packers have signed S Charlie Peprah to an extension.
