ESPN’s John Clayton reports that the Green Bay Packers have re-signed WR Jordy Nelson to a three-year deal worth $13.35 million which includes $5 million guaranteed. This move will keep Nelson in Green Bay through 2014.
Since his breakout performance during the Super Bowl, Nelson has proven to be one of the teams best offensive weapons and brings an interesting skill set to their passing attack. The Packers continue to lock up their young talent to cost efficient deals which should keep them competitive for the coming seasons. The attention now turns to TE Jermichael Finley and Matt Flynn who will both be hitting the open market at the end of the season.
