The Green Bay Packers brought in seven free agents for tryouts on Tuesday, according to Rob Devemosky.
The full list includes:
- RB Ryquell Armstead
- RB Max Borghi
- RB Nate McCrary
- RB Ty’Son Williams
- WR Ra’Shaun Henry
- TE Jared Scott
- CB/KR Corey Ballentine
Williams, 26, went undrafted out of BYU following the 2020 NFL Draft. He caught on with the Ravens during training camp but was waived coming out of the preseason.
He returned to the team on the practice squad and spent most of the season on the unit. The Ravens re-signed Williams to a futures deal for the 2021 season and tendered him as an exclusive rights free agent this past March, but later withdrew the tender.
From there, Williams signed on with the Colts in May before being released coming out of the preseason.
In 2021, Williams appeared in 13 games for the Ravens and rushed 35 times for 185 yards (5.3 YPC) and one touchdown, adding nine receptions on 12 targets for 84 yards.
