According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the Packers brought in four players for workouts on Tuesday, including:
- WR Reggie Begelton
- QB Nick Fitzgerald
- CB Derrek Thomas
- S Austin Exford
Fitzgerald, 23, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May. Tampa Bay waived him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and joined their practice squad shortly after.
The Buccaneers cut him loose after a month.
During his college career, Fitzgerald recorded 511 completions on 942 pass attempts (54.2 percent) for 6,207 yards, 55 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions.
