Mark Daniels is reporting that the Patriots are showing interest in Eagles free agent CB Patrick Robinson.
Last we heard regarding Robinson, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported that the Eagles were “working to retain” to re-sign him.
Robinson, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Saints back in 2010. He spent five years in New Orleans before signing a three-year, $14 million contract with the Colts that included $6 million guaranteed.
The Colts elected to come him loose last March and he eventually signed a one-year contract with the Eagles.
In 2017, Robinson appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 47 tackles, one sack, four interceptions and 18 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 4 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
