Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots have signed RB Brandon Bolden to a one-year, $880,000 extension through the 2018 season.
According to Yates, Bolden’s contract includes $170,000 in guarantees.
Bolden, 28, wound up signing on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2012. He has spent all six years of his NFL career in New England.
Bolden had just played out a similar one-year deal with the Patriots and was in line to be an unrestricted free agent.
In 2017, Bolden appeared in 16 games for the Patriots and rushed for 67 yards on 13 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with one reception for seven yards receiving and no touchdowns.
