According to Jerry McDonald, the Raiders are nearing a deal with former Rams LB Cory Littleton.
Ian Rapoport reports the deal is for three years and has a total valuation of $36 million.
Littleton is seen as the best off-ball linebacker on the market and fills a huge need for Las Vegas.
The Raiders have been linked to Littleton for a few weeks now. The Packers were also reportedly interested, but his price tag may have forced the out.
Littleton, 26, is a former undrafted free agent out of Washington signed by the Rams in 2016. He played out the final year of his three-year, $1,635 million contract before returning to the Rams last year on a one-year restricted deal worth $3,095,000.
Littleton is set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2019, Littleton appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 134 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, four recoveries, and nine pass defenses.
We have him included in our Top 100 – 2020 Free Agents list.
