According to Aaron Wilson, the Raiders brought in five players for workouts on Wednesday, including former Steelers OLB Matthew Thomas.
The full list of tryouts includes:
- WR Emanuel Hall
- WR Jamal Custis
- CB Sean Harper
- CB DeVante Harris
- LB Matthew Thomas
Thomas, 24, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in May of last year.
Pittsburgh elected to wive him toward the end of last season and signed him to their practice squad once passing through waivers.
The Ravens signed him off the Steelers’ practice squad back in January to a futures deal but was cut loose from Baltimore last month.
This is the first reported interest in him since becoming a free agent.
In 2018, Thomas appeared in 10 games for the Steelers and recorded four tackles, no tackles for loss and no sacks.
