Rivers, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.3 million contract that included an $802,896 signing bonus.
New England waived him last week and he was quickly claimed by the Rams. Rivers stands to make a base salary of $735,000 for the 2020 season.
In 2020, Rivers has appeared in eight games for the Patriots and recorded four tackles and 1.5 sacks.
Patrick, 23, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent back in 2019 out of Georgia. He made Los Angeles’ active roster last season but was among their final roster cuts coming out of this year’s training camp.
He signed to the Rams’ practice squad shortly after passing through waivers unclaimed. He’s bounced on and off their active roster this season.
In 2019, Patrick appeared in 12 games and recorded two total tackles and no sacks.
