Rams Promote WR Nsimba Webster From Practice Squad

Ian Rapoport reports that the Rams have promoted WR Nsimba Webster from their practice squad to the active roster. 

Rapoport adds that another team attempted to sign Webster from Los Angeles’ practice squad. 

Webster, 23, signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington back in May. Los Angeles elected to waive him last month and signed him to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed. 

During his four-year college career, Webster recorded 156 receptions for 2,233 yards receiving (14.3 YPC) and 18 touchdowns.
