Tom Pelissero says it’s a $51 million deal in total value with $34 million guaranteed. That works out to $17 million per year.

It’s the second straight move the Rams have made to dip into the Chiefs’ pool of players to reinforce their secondary. Watson will team up with CB Trent McDuffie, the same starting tandem that’s suited up for the Chiefs the last two years.

Watson, 27, was a seventh-round pick by the Chiefs out of Washington State in the 2022 NFL Draft. He just finished the final year of a four-year, $3.745 million rookie contract.

In 2025, Watson appeared in 15 games for the Chiefs and recorded 64 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions and six pass deflections.
