Damond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds was first to report the news this morning.
Jeff Zrebiec says he’s told as many as four members of the organization may have tested positive for the virus. He adds those are split between players and staff members.
The Ravens are in the process of contact tracing to determine which players were exposed as potential high-risk contacts. All team activities are being conducted remotely.
Given Baltimore is scheduled to play the Steelers this Thursday in the Thanksgiving primetime game, there’s the potential for a wide swath of players to be ineligible to play. High-risk close contacts must continue to test negative for five days after exposure to be removed from the COVID-10 list.
Depending on how bad the outbreak is, the status of the game itself could be in question. Currently the game is on as scheduled, per Tom Pelissero.
We’ll have more on the Ravens situation as the news is available.
