Ravens Re-Sign G Tony Bergstrom, Waive CB Tony McRae

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve re-signed G Tony Bergstrom to their active roster on Saturday and waived CB Tony McRae.

Bergstrom, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Raiders back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Raiders before signing a two-year, $5.75 million deal that included $1.5 million guaranteed with the Texans back in March of last year.

Bergstrom was set to make a base salary of $1.25 million for the 2017 season when the Texans released him in a move that freed up $2,875,000 of available cap space. The Cardinals later signed him to a one-year contract this past May before trading him to the Ravens for a conditional seventh-round pick coming out of the preseason.

The Ravens just recently released Bergstrom.

In 2017, Bergstrom has appeared in three games for the Ravens.
