The Redskins have activated RB Derrius Guice from injured reserve on Wednesday, according to Field Yates.
Guice spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after tearing his ACL last preseason, but he picked up an injury to his other knee last month that ultimately required surgery led to him once again being placed on injured reserve.
The Redskins recently designated Guice as one of their two players to return from injured reserve.
Guice, 22, is a former second-round pick of the Redskins back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $4,541,936 contract that includes a $1,383,224 signing bonus.
In 2019, Guice has appeared in one game and rushed for 18 yards on 10 carries (1.8 YPC) to go along with three receptions for 20 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
