Jen Lada of CSN Chicago reports that is “hearing” that the Redskins, Cowboys, and Cardinals are among the interested teams in Bears free agent DT Stephen Paea.
- Ian Rapoport reported earlier that the Redskins are “very interested” in Paea.
Paea, 26, is another free agent who could walk away with a very respectable contract, even though he hasn’t generated a lot of news since entering the NFL back in 2011.
Last year, he appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded 33 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 11 defensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.
