According to J.P. Finlay, the Redskins will host Duke QB Daniel Jones on a visit sometime next week.
Jones, who is 6-5 and 220 pounds, is the latest quarterback the Redskins have shown interest in. Washington also hosted Missouri QB Drew Lock for a visit this week.
The Redskins hold the No. 16 pick in the first round and Jones could be a candidate for that pick.
Jones, 21, is seen as a likely a first-round pick in April’s draft after being coached up under Duke HC David Cutcliffe, who also worked with both Manning brothers.
During his college career at Duke, Jones threw for, 8,201 yards while completing 59.9 percent of his passes to go along with 52 touchdowns and 29 interceptions over the course of 36 games and three seasons.
