Redskins Place S Montae Nicholson On NFI List

The Washington Redskins announced Wednesday that they’ve placed S Montae Nicholson on the reserve/non-football injury list, ending his 2018 season.

This comes just a day after Nicholson was arrested and charged with assault and battery and public drunkenness.

Nicholson, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.01 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Nicholson appeared in 14 games for the Redskins and recorded 41 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
