The Washington Redskins announced a few roster moves on Tuesday including the signing of LB Mason Foster and CB Quinton Dunbar.
Foster was among a few linebackers who tried out for the Redskins on Monday.
Foster, 26, signed a one-year deal with the Bears back in March with the hope that he could solidify one of their interior linebacker spots. However, he wound up being among the Bears’ final roster cuts.
Last year, Foster appeared in 10 games and recorded 62 tackles and three pass defenses for the Buccaneers. Pro Football Focus has Foster rated as the No. 43 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
