The Washington Redskins officially waived RB Shaun Wilson from injured reserve on Friday.
Wilson, 23, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Duke last year. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract, but was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder issue in November.
The Redskins signed Wilson to a contract this past July before waiving him with an injury designation a month later. He reverted to their injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
In 2018, Wilson appeared in five games for the Buccaneers and rushed for 29 yards on six carries (4.8 YPC) to go along with three receptions for five yards and no touchdowns.
