According to Aaron Wilson, the Redskins brought in five offensive linemen for workouts on Wednesday, including OT Nate Wozniak.
The full list of tryouts includes:
- OL Paul Adams
- OL Keegan Render
- OL Victor Salako
- OT Travis Vornkahl
- OT Nate Wozniak
Of this group, the Redskins have signed Vornkahl to their practice squad.
Wozniak, 25, originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in May of last year but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
He signed with New Orleans’ practice squad and re-signed to a futures contract in January.
The Saints wound up cutting him in August and was quickly signed by the Vikings, but failed to make their active roster. He caught on with the Falcons’ practice squad last month but lasted just nine days in Atlanta before getting released.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
