Bears Put In Request To Interview Bruce Arians

Ian Rapoport tweets that the Chicago Bears also put in a formal request to interview Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians.

The Chargers have also been reported to have interest in Arians, but a meeting between the two sides has yet to be setup. Arians is reportedly dealing with the flu, but is expected to coach in Sunday’s playoff game.

Vaughn McClure reports that the Chicago Bears will interview Broncos OC Mike McCoy for their head coaching vacancy this Sunday.

McCoy has been a really hot name thus far. Nearly every team in need of a head coach is reportedly considering him to some extent. Chicago looks to be focused on finding an offensive-minded head coach, which is why names like Tom Clements, Pete Carmichael and Mike Sullivan are coming up.
