Jason La Canfora reports that the Arizona Cardinals are currently shopping RB Ryan Williams before the deadline to cut rosters to 75 players.
There have been rumors that Williams was on the chopping block this preseason, so it is not exactly surprising that they would be calling around to see if anyone is interested in him.
Williams, 23, suffered a serious knee injury in his first season in the league and was a little apprehensive upon returning to the playing field. As things stand now, the Cardinals appear to be prepared to move forward with Rashard Mendenhall as well as rookies Stepfan Taylor and Andre Ellington.
