Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Indianapolis Colts worked out veteran WR Deion Branch.
- Colts also worked out RB Shaun Draughn and WR Ty West.
Branch, 34, has been out of the league since last year when he was with the New England Patriots. Branch totaled 16 receptions for 145 yards and no touchdowns in 2012.
The Colts could really use some help at wide receiver now that T.Y. Hilton and Lavon Brazill are both dealing with injuries. Darrius Heyward Bey has been a bust of a free agent signing to say the least and their offense has really struggled in the second-half of the season.
We’ll have to see the Colts do in fact sign Branch at some point in the near future.
