Howard Eskin reports that Eagles QB Michael Vick is likely to miss next week’s game against the Buccaneers and could be out the following week as well.
Vick, , was forced to leave Sunday’s win over the Giants with a hamstring injury. An MRI is scheduled for Monday, but it appears as though Nick Foles will be under center for Philadelphia in Week 6.
HC Chip Kelly told reporters that Vick will remain the team’s starter as long as he’s healthy. Kelly added that Vick could have played in the event that Foles would have suffered an injury.
