Report: Vontaze Burfict Is Expected To Be Drafted

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that a league source has informed him that Arizona State LB Vontaze Burfict that someone will end up using a seventh-round pick on the troubled linebacker based on his “talent and potential.”

The fall of Burfict has been well documented and the recent positive drug test only adds to a long list of issues that teams have to be concerned with, but a seventh-round pick wouldn’t cause anyone to kick themselves for taking a shot on this kid. It will be interesting to see if this ends up being the case and who might shown interest in him.
