RGIII Gaining On Andrew Luck?

ESPN’s Adam Schefter writes that “a handful of NFL scouts” actually prefer Baylor QB Robert Griffin III to presumed #1 pick Stanford QB Andrew Luck.

There’s always going to be a group of people that comes out against the consensus but at this point, it’s hard to imagine that the Colts would pass on Luck.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper mentioned earlier in the week that he doesn’t see how Griffin could surpass Luck as the top pick in the draft. Kiper added that Luck is the highest grade quarterback since John Elway.

This is not to discredit RGIII by any means. The guy has plenty of talent and has a good shot to go as early as No. 2 overall, depending on whether teams are willing to move up to get him.
