ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the New Orleans Saints are bringing in their former K Garrett Hartley for a workout on Wednesday.
- Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Saints are one of two teams in contention for the playoffs with interest in Hartley.
- Rapoport reported on Tuesday that the Saints are expected to make even more roster moves this week, so there is a chance that Shayne Graham could be released.
This season, Graham has converted 18 of 20 (90 percent) field goal attempts and all but one extra point. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 42 kicker out of 52 qualifying players this season.
Hartley had spent five seasons with the Saints before he was released in December of last year. In 2013, he converted on 22 of 30 attempts, in what amounted to be his worst season.
He has previously worked out for the Lions and Titans, but didn’t receive an offer from either.
