Gregg Bell, citing two NFL sources, reports that the Seahawks are re-signing LB K.J. Wright.
Ian Rapoport reports that the Seahawks are signing Wright to a two-year contract worth up to $15.5 million.
Wright, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2011. He’s played out the final year of his four-year, $27 million contract that included $15,431,000 guaranteed and made a base salary of $7.2 million for the 2018 season.
Wright was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, WRight appeared in five games for the Seahawks and recorded 23 tackles, no sacks, and three pass defenses.
