Sunderland, 24, signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Troy in 2020. Green Bay waived him with an injury designation coming out of camp, however, and later released him with a settlement.
In October, Sunderland caught on with the Colts practice squad and signed a futures deal with Indianapolis for the 2021 season. He was waived following the draft, though.
During his four-year college career at Oklahoma and Troy, Sunderland recorded 77 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, six interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and five pass defenses in 29 games.
