The Seattle Seahawks signed former CFL WR Chris Matthews on Tuesday, according to the NFL Transactions release.
Matthews, 24, played his college football at the University of Kentucky. He would go on to sign with the CFL Winnipeg Blue Bombers and put up some solid numbers for them in 2012 including 1,192 yards and 7 touchdowns. However, his 2013 season was equally disappointing.
He’ll obviously have to earn a roster spot in training camp.
