South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery’s Dropping Out Of The First-Round?

Russ Lande of the Sporting News write that several NFL team’s have South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery rated as a “a late first- or high second-round pick.”

Joe Everett of RookieDraft.com reported earlier in the day that Jeffery was recently posted a forty time of 4.88 and weighed in at 249 pounds.

Jeffery was previously considered to be one of the best receiving prospects in this years draft but that’s not to say that he didn’t have some concerns. The knock’s on him have been a lack of speed, poor conditioning, and an inability to get off of jams from opposing corners. If this report hold true, it will force Jeffery to post a very solid forty-time at the combine next week, otherwise, he could fall out of the first-round completely.
