Steve Smith Open To A Trade?

NFL insider Incarcerated Bob tweeted today that his sources have told him that Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith has made it clear that he is not opposed to being traded before the NFL trade deadline of Oct. 19th.

Incarcerated Bob also mentioned that the Panthers would have to give up on the season and receive a second-round pick along with additional compensation in order to part with Smith.

Bob lists the Dolphins, Bears, Redskins and Chiefs as interested parties for Smith if he becomes available.

Smith’s name was brought up last week as a possible trade candidate if the Panthers choose to get serious about their rebuilding process. There is no doubt that there will be more news regarding Smith as the deadline approaches.
