Cole, 25, signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri State back in 2017. He is in the final year of a three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to earn a base salary of $645,000 this season.
He sustained a torn ACL in Week 11, ending his season. Cole is in line to be a restricted free agent in 2020.
In 2019, Cole has appeared in 11 games for the Texans and recorded 15 tackles, a fumble recovery, and a pass defense.
Heath, 26, signed with the Texans in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State. He played out the final year of his rookie contract before returning to Houston this past March on a one-year, $1.6 million restricted deal.
The Texans waived Heath coming out of the preseason and he’s been on and off of their roster this season.
In 2018, Heath appeared in five games for the Texans, recording two total tackles.
