The Lions A Potential Landing Spot For RB Reggie Bush?

Reggie Bush‘s tenure with the Miami Dolphins looks to be coming to an end, and according to Josh Slagter of MLive.com, the Detroit Lions could be a potential option for the running back.

The unfortunate concussions that Jahvid Best has dealt with has left the Lions with a need for a pass-catcher in the backfield, which is something Bush could easily bring to the team while being a decent complement to Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell, who combined for 1,200 yards in 2012.

The Cincinnati Bengals have also been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Bush as they could be looking for a new tailback with Bernard Scott set to become a free agent. On top of that, BenJarvus Green-Ellis averaged just 3.9 yards per carry this season.

The Dolphins seem willing to go with Lamar Miller as their featured back after being a fourth-round draft pick in 2012, as opposed to paying Bush a market value contract.

We have Bush listed as the No. 38 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
