Titans Place CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson On Season-Ending I.R. & Sign OL Jamon Meredith

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that the Titans have placed CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson on season-ending injured reserve with a dislocated shoulder.

  • According to Wyatt, the Titans also signed veteran OL Jamon Meredith to their active roster.

Wreh-Wilson, 25, still has another two years remaining on his four-year, $2.937 million rookie contract, which includes base salaries of $625,335 (2015) and $731,305 (2016).

His 2014 season comes to an end with him recording 57 tackles, one interception, and 10 pass defenses over the course of 11 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 111 cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.

Meredith, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2009. He appeared in four games while playing for the Indianapolis Colts this season.

Meredith was most recently with the Bengals, but was placed on waivers last week.
