Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has been ruled out for Monday night’s game against the Chiefs, per Mike Bires.
Polamalu hasn’t played since October 7th because of a calf injury that has been bothering him since the last season. It looks as though the Steelers have held him out in hopes that he’ll be ready to play as they make a run for the playoffs. In the past few seasons, Polamalu’s durability has really been questioned. One has to wonder if he’ll ever be able to play a full season and return to his All-Pro form.
