According to Andrew Krammer, Vikings RB Roc Thomas has been suspended three games by the NFL for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
Thomas was sentenced to probation in May following a January arrest when police found marijuana in his home.
Thomas, 23, signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Vikings and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
The Vikings waived Thomas in November, but re-signed him to the practice squad. Thomas was re-signed to a futures deal for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Thomas appeared in five games and rushed for 30 yards on eight carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with two receptions for 21 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
