Vikings Worked Out LB Efe Obada, No Plans To Sign Him

Darren Wolfson of ESPN 1500 reports that the Vikings recently brought in DE Efe Obada for a workout. However, they aren’t signing him to a contract.

Obada, 24, signed on with the Cowboys back in April of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later added to the Cowboys’ practice squad at the start of the regular season.

Dallas elected to bring Obada back on a future/reserve contract after the season. However, they elected to cut him loose in March.

During the preseason, Obada recorded a single tackle over the coruse of three games for the Cowboys.
