Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that Alabama LB C.J. Mosley is visiting with the Broncos on Monday and into Tuesday.
- Mosley has previously met with the Titans and Ravens.
Mosley is widely considered to be the best available inside linebacker in this year’s draft class. There are even some evaluators who believe Mosley is capable of playing outside linebacker at the next level.
Denver holds the No. 31 overall selection in this year’s draft, so it would be at least somewhat surprising to see Mosley still on the board by the time they are on the clock.
Inside linebackers have seen their value decrease to some degree in recent years. Mosley could come off the board anywhere from No. 10 to the end of round one, depending on how things play out this May.
Last year, Mosley totaled 108 tackles — nine of which came for a loss — five pass defenses and a forced fumble for the Crimson Tide defense.
We have the Packers taking Mosley at No. 21 overall in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
