Bills Unlikely To Trade Up To No. 2 Overall?

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media said on “Good Morning Football” Monday that he would be surprised to see the Bills “sell out and trade all the way up No. 2 with the Giants.

“From what I understand, it’s not going to be one of those things where they just sell out and (trade) all the way to No. 2 with the Giants,” Rapoport said. “I would be at this moment surprised if that happens.”

Instead, Rapoport says that the Bills are more likely to consider a trade up to No. 5 or No. 6 overall.

While the Bills have positioned themselves to move up for a quarterback, there’s no question it would take a lot to convince the Giants to move back to No. 12 overall. In fact, Bills GM Brandon Beane has said recently that it takes two teams to make a deal, and there’s no guarantee that New York is interested or willing to move out of their current spot.

Both the Broncos and Colts have made it clear that they would consider trading back for more draft picks, depending on what happens in the first few picks.

It’s possible that one or two of the top four quarterback prospects could fall out of the top-four picks.

Peter King mentioned earlier in the day that the Colts may not ask for both of the Bills’ first-round picks to move back and could instead target a package that consists of both of their second-rounders, which are worth more than No. 22 overall. King suggests the Bills trading No. 12, 53, 56 and 96 for No. 6 overall.

We have the Bills trading up to No. 5 overall and taking Josh Allen in our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.
