Brady Quinn has officially been ruled out after he suffered a concussion last weekend.
Chiefs HC Romeo Crennel told reporters that Brady Quinn will be the team’s starting quarterback as long as he’s healthy, via the Kansas City Star.
Matt Cassel looks like the better of the two, but that is still not saying a whole lot.
Brady Quinn not at practice facility today while undergoing tests for possible concussion. Matt Cassel to practice with first team.

It appears that Quinn suffered a concussion during Sunday’s loss to the Raiders. If that’s the case, then don’t expect Quinn to play this week since the Chiefs take on Chargers Thursday night. It would seem almost impossible for Quinn to pass all the concussion tests and be cleared to play. Expect Matt Cassel to be under center for Chiefs on Thursday night.Follow @nfltrade_rumors
