The Oakland Raiders announced Wednesday that they’ve officially acquired RB Marshawn Lynch in a trade with the Seahawks.
As previously reported, the Raiders receive Lynch and a 2018 sixth-round pick from the Seahawks in exchange for their 2018 fifth-round selection.
Marshawn Lynch has confirmed via his Twitter account that he’ll be playing for the Raiders in 2017.

Beyond that, Lynch’s representatives and the Raiders have agreed to terms on a one-year contract. All that’s left for this deal, is for Lynch take a physical with the Raiders.
Two sources tell Rapoport and Garafolo that Oakland expects Lynch to take a physical on Wednesday upon returning to the Bay Area from his trip to Haiti.
The Raiders will reportedly pay Lynch a $3 million base salary with an opportunity to earn $2 million more if he rushes for 1,000 yards. The max value of the contract is $8.5 million. Adam Schefter adds that Lynch receives a two-year deal from the Raiders.
Lynch will also need to file the necessary paperwork with the NFL to unretire.
Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie said last week that they would like to know if Lynch will be a member of their team before the draft and it appears as though they’ll have their answer.
Lynch, 30, has two years remaining on his three-year, $31 million contract that included $12 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $9 million and $7 million over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2015, Lynch In 2015, Lynch appeared in seven games for the Seahawks and rushed for 417 yards on 111 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 13 receptions for 80 yards receiving and three total touchdowns.
