According to Troy Renck, the Broncos are expected to place second-round tenders on restricted free agents LB Todd Davis and K Brandon McManus.

The second-round tender will cost the Broncos $2.746 million for the 2017 season and net them a second-round pick if he receives an offer sheet from another team and they elect to pass on matching it.

McManus, 26, originally signed on with the Colts back in 2013. He lasted just a few months with the Colts before he caught on with the Giants at the end of the 2014 season.

New York later traded McManus to the Broncos for a 2015 conditional seventh-round pick that ultimately became Tre McBride. After a decent preseason, the Broncos cut veteran Matt Prater and kept McManus.

In 2016, McManus appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and converted 29 of 34 field goal attempts (85.3 percent) to go along with 32 of 33 extra point tries (97 percent).
