Veteran DL Henry Melton announced via his Instagram account Sunday that he’s signing a contract with the Broncos.
The Broncos brought Melton in a for a workout earlier in the day.
Melton, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bears back in 2009. The Bears used their franchise tag on Melton back in 2013, but allowed him to depart and sign on with the Cowboys as an unrestricted free agent the following years.
The Buccaneers elected to sign Melton to a one-year contract in May of last year.
In 2015, Melton appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 30 tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, two recoveries and two pass defenses.
We had him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
