The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed S Chris Clemons.
- The Cardinals also signed Aussie Rules football player Joel Wilkinson as a cornerback.
Clemons, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2009. After five years in Miami, Clemons signed on with the Texans as an unrestricted free agent before later catching on with the Cardinals last March.
In 2015, Clemens appeared in seven games and recorded five tackles for the Cardinals.
Wilkinson, 24, retired from the Australian Rules game play to pursue an NFL career. He is the second AFL player to sign with an NFL team after 49ers signed running back Jarryd Hayne last year.
Wilkinson will have to compete for a roster spot this offseason.
