According to Darren Urban, the Cardinals have signed veteran LB Philip Wheeler to a one-year contract.
Wheeler, 32, is a former third-round pick of the Colts back in 2008. He spent four years in Indianapolis before signing on with the Raiders as a free agent in 2012.
Wheeler lasted just one year in Oakland before he caught on with the Dolphins after he was cut loose. The Falcons elected to sign him to a contract during the season in 2015.
He just finished a one-year contract with Atlanta and was an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Wheeler appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons and recorded 28 total tackles.
